The tour is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of General Andranik.
Day 1

At 05.00 am you leave Yerevan and by way of Gyumri go to Akhlkalaki which is the centre of Javakhk. You cross the Armenian Georgian border at Bavra. After a short rest you go to Akhaltsikhe. On the way to Akhaltsikhe you are accompanied by the river Kur, on the bank of which Khertvis fortress is situated. Here you have breakfast. After a short rest you continue your way to Akhaltsikhe and cross Georgian Turkish border at Valey.
After crossing the border you find yourself in the Armenian plateau, greater part of which is in Western Armenia /about 140000 square km/. The road is so beautiful and attractive that you don’t feel how you pass the 160 km and arrive in Kars. It is one of the former five capitals in Western Armenia. In 928 Kars was the 10th capital of Armenia. You have dinner at “Ojakh Bashi” where very tasty dishes are served and after a short rest you start the tour around Kars. St. Apostle’s church which was built during the reign of king Abas Bagratuni /928-953/ is a magnificent structure, still standing but it has been turned into a mosque. You admire the beauty of the fortress. Those who want, can go up to the fortress from where they can have a beautiful panorama of the city. You go over St. Vardan Bridge, see well preserved two-storeyed buildings in black tuff and the ruins of Charents’ paternal house alongside them.

Day 2

The second day of the tour is very interesting and full. 40 minutes on the road and you arrive in Ani. You are met by the Smbatashen walls on which just in front of the entrance you can see the coat of arms of the Bagratunis – a running lion. In 961 Ani became the 11th capital of Armenia. It is famous for its churches. The Mother Cathedral was built by architect Trdat (989-1001). It is considered to be the masterpiece of Armenian architecture. The general structure of the church of Holy Redeemer was so solid that when it was ruined in two halves, its dome wasn’t damaged. The church of Tigran Honents is decorated with different reliefs and frescos inside and outside the church. Walking about Ani you will see numerous churches and ruins of magnificent buildings.
You leave for Van. The next stop is at Mount Ararat. You climb 2500m by minibus and have a picnic on the slopes of Masis. After enjoying the chance of being on Mount Ararat you leave for one of the magnificent places in Western Armenia – the first capital of Armenia, Van. On the way you stop at Igdir (the birthplace of Dro), Bayazet. You also see the picturesque waterfall of Berkri.
In the evening you arrive in Van. First you visit Van Castle (built during the Urartian period) where the mausoleums of Menua, Argishti and Rusa are situated. Then you visit Mher’s Door which never opens.
You check-in at the Urartu Hotel 4*/ Elite World Van hotel (5*), have supper at the hotel restaurant.

Day 3

After breakfast you drive up to Varagavank (built at the end of 10th century), the most remarkable holy place in Vaspurakan. A 40-km way to Akhtamar Island lies along the shores of Lake Van. You cannot help admiring the beauty of the lake that looks like a pearl surrounded by mountains. It takes 15 minutes to get to Akhtamar Island by boat. On approaching the island you are met by St. Cross church which was built by architect Manvel from 915 to 921. You have dinner in “Akhtamar” restaurant on the shore of Lake Van. Here Van tarekh is served.
You leave for Datvan. You have a rest, swim and enjoy Lake Van.

Day 4

After breakfast you take your leave of Vaspurakan region. Though it’s rather difficult to leave, other interesting cities and places are waiting for you.
Bitlis is famous for its fortress and well-preserved Armenian houses. You visit Hasankeyf. Here you see the famous medieval bridge, the fortress with many caves, the ruins of churches and monasteries lying on the banks of the Tigris. You visit Mor Gabriel Church, which was built by Mor Samuel in 397AD. 
In the evening you arrive in Mardin - the city of Sun. It’s really beautiful, especially at night. You have a city tour and visit Armenian church.

Day 5

After breakfast you leave for Diyarbakir, where St. Kirakos church reopened quite recently. Diyarbakir is also famous for the 1500 years' old bridge built on the river Tigris. The 8-km-long Diyarbakir walls run throughout the city.
You drive up Mount Nemrut, but you have to climb some part of the way on foot. The way to Gods is rather difficult but there are benches to have a rest on. Many tourists from all over the world come to see the royal mausoleum of the Yervandunis and the statues of pagan Gods /Aramazd, Mihr, Vahagn, Anahit/ which are 8m high.
After getting the blessing of Gods you continue your way to Malatya. You arrive in Malatya and check-in at the hotel. Here you see Holy Trinity church and the Armenian district where Hrant Dink was born.

Day 6

Նախաճաշից հետո կուղևորվենք Խարբերդ, կտեսնենք Խարբերդի նշանավոր բերդը, հայկական կիսավերեկեղեցիներ, նշանավոր Եփրատյան կիսավեր քոլեջը և մեկը մյուսից գեղեցիկ վերականգնվածհայկական տները, որոնք հիմա ծառայում են տուրիստական  նպատակների համար :

 Երզնկա։ Ճանապարհին կայցելենք Ակն, որը հիացնում է իր ջրվեժներով, անտառներով , ժայռերով իզուր չէոր այն նմանեցնում են Շվեցարական փոքրիկ տուրիստական քաղաքի, այստեղ ծնվել ենգրականմշակութային անմահ գործիչներ՝ Գրիգոր Զոհրապը, Սիամանթոն, Միսաք Մեծարենցը, Արփիար Արփիարյանը, ՆիկոլԳալանտերյանը, Արշակ Չոբանյանը։ Կանգառ Կեմախի կիրճի մոտ: Կժամանենք Երզնկա, որտեղ կլինի մեր գիշերեկացը:

Day 7

You set off to Shabin Karahisar, the birthplace of famous Armenian General Andranik. You continue your way to Erzurum. On the way you stop at Bayburd where another famous Armenian general, Sepuh, was born. Here it’s important to see the fortress of Bayburd, Armenian district.
You continue your way to Erzrum. Here you see Erzrum Castle, Sanassaryan College and the Armenian Church which was turned into a mosque. You have supper at the restaurant where various dishes are served.

Day 8

After breakfast you leave for Tayk region where you see Tortum Waterfall and Oshkvank. Then you  leave for the Turkish- Georgian boarder. You start for Akhaltsike. At about 4pm you have farewell dinner at the restaurant "Romantic".
You arrive in Yerevan 10.00-11.00pm.
